It is also doing its own farming in about 60 acres of land and aims to increase it to 200 acres of land in the coming season.
Highland De La Mer Pvt. Ltd, founded and promoted by Mr. Pratik Jena in the last qtr of the year 2018 with an aim to penetrate the export market of frozen shrimp with good and world class quality materials.
Being a member of MPEDA and EIA, the company started its business of merchant exporter (EIA approval on Aug 2019), having processing agreement with Balasore Marine Exports Pvt Ltd and in a span of just 6 months time it has achieved a sales volume of 350 mt of frozen shrimp with an export turnover of 18 cr.
The aim is to set a global brand of highland products in the foreign countries.
It is also planning to achieve a sales volume of 150 containers with a sales turnover of 140 cr in the coming year 2020-21, with an aim to export its product to Vietnam, China, Japan, Dubai & Canada.
